I have never heard of the Lincoln Democracy Institute but its main purpose seems to be to work against democracy by denying voters another choice on the ballot. This "ad" was targeted against a clearly bi-partisan event involving speakers with a diverse range of views:

The ad is running “heavily” Monday on WMUR, a Manchester station that broadcasts ABC programming to most of New Hampshire.

It’s also being geofenced to Saint Anselm College, where No Labels is hosting a town hall event featuring Democratic U.S. Sen. Joe Manchin III and former U.S. Ambassador Jon Huntsman, and the popular Puritan Backroom restaurant where the group will hold a pre-event launch lunch.

Mobile billboard trucks will circle both venues while playing the ad.

The town hall, the first of a series under the title “Common Sense,” will also include former Democratic-turned-independent former U.S. Sen. Joe Lieberman, the group’s Co-Chair, as well as former North Carolina Republican Gov. Pat McCrory, former U.S. Director of National Intelligence Dennis Blair, former Democratic U.S. Rep. Joe Cunningham, former Republican U.S. Rep. Fred Upton and civil rights leader Ben Chavis.

Lieberman is the tell here. Manchin is a close second. The whole effort is being funded by the same people who funded the corruption of the Supreme Court. Mark Penn, who HATES OBAMA and Biden is the polling architect. Nancy Jacobson, his wife, who also hate Obama and Biden, is the political architect.

Trump has no chance without this type of no labels nonsense so of course they will try this. They will try to throw that elect trump money around to get their way but it will fail.

According to NYT polling, Trump is leading by a solid margin over Biden in battleground states (MI, PA, GA, AZ). If that holds, Trump will be president again. A viable third party candidate would be the best insurance policy. Biden is unlikely to win and no one with a serious chance of beating him in his own party can or will run against him in the primaries. Manchin would be much better than Trump as would Larry Hogan.

Trump or Biden will be the next president. No third party is going to win the presidency. Don't be a moron or treat the other posters here like morons.

Trump is the favorite to win at this point in a head to head match-up with Biden. If you want that to happen, it makes sense to hope that things play out as they are now with Biden the unquestioned Dem nominee and there being no threat from viable 3rd party candidate. If you don't want Trump to win, it makes sense to hope for something other than a Trump vs Biden rematch and/or a viable 3rd party candidate to enter the race to shake things up a bit. Let's face it, Trump and Biden are both very easily beatable candidates and they really only have a chance of winning if they are each other's only true competition.

Blah blah blah. There is no such thing as a viable third party candidate. No labels wants trump to win and if they thought he could win in his own, they would not even exist.

No Labels has been around for over a decade yet they only exist to get Trump elected in 2024. Yea, that makes sense.

It is the only thing that makes sense. A viable third party candidate? Don't be stupid. That is what makes no sense.

Biden's approval rating is at 39%. No presidential candidate with a rating that low has ever been re-elected. So, it looks like you want Trump to win by talking down the most reasonable alternative (No Labels).

No Labels has made their opinion and motives crystal clear. They are in line with the majority of Americans in the belief that neither Trump or Biden are anywhere close to the best we have to offer as POTUS in the next presidential term. Until No Labels has a candidate in the race, they are nothing but another source of political opinion but if they do enter the race with a candidate, it will likely be a big name that many voters will at least consider and there is nothing wrong with that scenario.

How does this group splitting the GOP ticket have any impact on the Democrats? Stop trying to fool people with this non-sense. And stop with the Trump boogie man candidate. He will be lucky if he’s even allowed to run or have time to campaign. The GOP has no one and will lose by more with No Labels campaigning against them. This is good.

If the Dems lose, it’s of their own doing. Provided the President doesn’t have a major health crisis, he should win even with the VP hanging on. He could send troops to the Middle East, and he’d still win. (That would really splinter the party, but having both parties implode simultaneously in the presidential race would be a good way to rejuvenate this country.)

It’s because No Labels has the potential to draw the moderates and independents who will never vote for Trump and aren’t thrilled about the idea of voting for Biden but would if the only choice they had was Trump or Biden. I’m one of those voters who could go with No Labels because the choice of Trump or Biden is just awful, and this is what Dems keep trying to hammer away at, my vote for No Labels takes away from Biden and is effectively a vote for Trump.

Senator Manchin looks like a No Labels candidate: https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/sen-joe-manchin-running-reelection/story?id=104767579

Anonymous
Manchin insisted on Thursday that he will remain involved in politics. He seemingly alluded to the possibility that he could mount an outside presidential bid amid what polls show is widespread dissatisfaction with both President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump, currently the likely Democratic and Republican nominees next year.

"I have made one of the toughest decisions of my life and decided that I will not be running for reelection to the United States Senate, but what I will be doing is traveling the country and speaking out to see if there is an interest in creating a movement to mobilize the middle and bring Americans together," Manchin said.

Multiple sources told ABC News that he's not ruling out a White House run.

No Labels is funded by right wing money. If you think they will run a candidate to split the GOP vote, you are sorely mistaken.
