I’m almost through the first season but every episode makes me cry. I feel tricked.

Second season is lighter, funnier, and all-around better. First season was more emotionally difficult. Skip ahead to season 2 if you want, though you might miss a couple of plot points. But I promise season 2 is great!

Agree about second season, but don't skip ahead. It's worth watching all of it. I don't think you will fully appreciate the second season without watching the first. Just readjust your expectations for the rest of season 1. It gets pretty dark.

It’s British comedy. Plus in no other universe would the actor who plays the priest be considered hot.

It can be hard to watch if you get frustrated easily. She's funny but she also makes really, really bad decisions.

I’m having a hard time getting through the first season - still on episode two. She just awful and I think you’re supposed to think that she’s the quirky, charming free-spirited kind of awful that we deep down wish we could all be. But no, she’s just awful. Started the Man in the High Castle instead and may come back to Fleabag at some point.

I liked but didn't love season 1 and lived season 2. But don't skip ahead. I really feel like season 2 is earned, if that makes sense.
