Fleabag I thought it would be fun

But of course it’s not funny and horribly sad because she died and because Fleabag has so much guilt about sleeping with Boo’s terrible boyfriend. That’s what the show is about - the line between funny and sad, and love.

There is so much humor to be derived from tragic situations. Loved how Fleabag looked so fantastic at her mother’s funeral and was trying to look less fabulous, but just couldn’t.

I just could not find enough empathy for that situation to be sad. Not only was it just absurd that a grown woman would do that, but the flashbacks felt disjointed to me.

The flashback seemed incongruous to me too. People do commit suicide like that but it felt like a heavy handed attempt to excuse the protagonist’s horrible behavior b/c she’d suffered trauma.

There were funny moments but I thought as a whole, very over rated.

Or when Fleabag chews out the stylist about Clare's hair and then he pulls her inspiration picture from the trash? GOLD.

when he pulled out the pic. i was like WELP, nothing else to see here. that was wonderful!

I thought she was funny when dating but creepy when going after the priest who was not hot but just ... not hot.
