| And I have no real reason to go as often as I do. Something about that store makes me feel nostalgic. |
| I am the opposite. I hate their layout the way that to find something you have to walk so far through other departments hoping you will buy something you see along the way. Then it is almost impossible to find the exit. I do not find it relaxing at all, |
| Me too. |
| It feels like a maze to me. Very unpleasant. |
| I like the space and they offerings. I do not like the employees who are probably underpaid and overworked and easily stressed out and given to angry lashing out at customers |
| Nope. |
| Me too. |
This. I literally hyperventilate when I walk in the door of an IKEA. |
| Is the food good? My DD wants to go to IKEA, it's a bit of a haul for me to drive, but the thought of Swedish meatballs has me interested.... |

Food is good and very cheap. Try the frozen almond cake. Eat it frozen at home. I go about twice a year. Don't go there extra since it's too far. Would go there often juts for food if it were any closer.
I've hardly ever had to talk to employees. |

Great indoor space to take kids on an iffy weather. Lots of room to walk, plenty of things to keep their interest going. Upstairs showroom, especially kids section is fun for kids, but the other rooms are fun too. Kid will always find something to feed their curiosity. Many things that they don't see anywhere else. It is like furniture museum where you can touch everything so that is great for kids. The interior styles are different then most US homes so that is also fun. The toy section is decant and different.
And the food.. aahhh the food. If you think meatballs are great which they are, now they added veggie meatballs, chicken meatballs and some other ones, they have tons of vegetarian options and gluten free and anything in-between. Cakes and sweats are delicious, soups are nice, salads are small and fun, graved lax is divine, rolls are yummy. Their fun carbonated Swedish drinks from the machine are always welcomed by kids and eating area with all those funny big paper lamps and play areas are kids friendly. Buying stuff is optional but you most likely never come back emptyhanded even if it is only some little kitchen gadget or two, or some useful office supply stuff or a little lamp or even piece furniture!
Yes, definitely like trip to different world without your passport, visa or plain tickets. |

Ah yes, their little food shop downstairs. Not only you can get hot dogs, ice cream and pizza almost for free but their to go stuff is amazing.
Fantastic frozen section with Swedish crapes in bags, veggie medallions, potatoes pancakes, all kinds of fantastic European pastries that are just fabulous and very sophisticated but cost so much less then way less delicious options in places like Whole F. Their pear and apple sodas are fun, cookies and candy section is pretty big, great and inexpensive chocolate bars that people buy by boxes, and syrups that people buy for pancakes and to add to club sodas. They have great tasting salmon fillets, fresh frozen , lax, smoked and more. There are ton of great stuff there, if nothing else then just food alone is well worth the trip. Try those pink cream half balled pastry with white cream filling covered with marzipan and with a jam center. They are like OMG! |
| Their Christmas section is awesome each year and so unique. |

| IKEA is overwhelming and horrible. The last time I went was last year and before that was twenty years ago. I won’t go for another twenty years. I can’t imagine getting trapped in that maze of a store if a fire ever broke out. |
