Honestly how much more worth it is it to do the research out to these areas?
|
| What the heck are you talking about? |
Think op is wondering whether a buying a cheaper car that is located far away is worth the drive. |
No. Long highway drive is not recommended for a new car. |
| No, cheaper in MD over VA. VA has higher dealer fees. Email all the dealers in the area and see who gives you the best price. |
Is this still true? |
Yes |
I feel like you shouldn’t buy a new car that can’t do a long highway drive. |
Pp is talking about Break in period for a new car |
| Can’t you drive on the highway in a new car as long as you keep varying the RPMs? |
Varying speed is recommended - even though some would argue this warning no longer applies. |
Depends on the car. For some cars, of course it is worth it. For most cars, no. What are you looking at OP? |
I have never heard of anything like this. It sounds like a good idea if you are buying a car in 1913, but I would imagine it is not necessary for a new car in 2019. |
Google “new car break in” period. Not new. |
Keep it under 100mph and 4500 RPM. Should not be too difficult on the highway. |
