Hope she is found safe. |

Nobody reported her missing for SEVERAL DAYS?
My mom was a public school teacher for 25 years and her principal called me to check on her when she didn’t show up for a half day of training—not even a day she was responsible for kids. |
|
This was always my biggest fear when I was single and living alone - no one would notice if I vanished!
Hope she is found safe and sound. |
According to the published reports, family members were with her until 11pm on Saturday night. She didn't show up for work on Monday morning and was reported missing then, around 36 hours after she was last seen, so it wasn't several days. She is a lovely person and a very caring teacher who always goes the extra mile for the kids. Hope she is found safe. |
When I was single and living alone, there is a good chance it would have taken my family and friends a few days to realize I was missing. I saw my parents most weekends and we spoke near daily, but they also took semi-regular weekend trips to a cabin with spotty internet service. If I didn't show up to work Monday, I'm guessing work wouldn't have raised the alarm until Monday afternoon to Tuesday morning. |
No, she was reported missing on Monday |
| Here is the websleuths thread, without too much info so far: https://www.websleuths.com/forums/threads/md-deborah-anne-celmer-41-rockville-12-oct-2019.479888/ |
| Wow... How sad. Hope she is found safe... |
The announcement may contain an error, but it is worded as if she had not been to work in several days, even though she was with family Saturday night. |
|
As of Thursday, she has not been to work for several days, since she was last at school last Friday.
She clearly loves her students and is a very caring teacher. My DD (and I) are very worried about her and hope that she is OK. She is very loved. |
|
I wonder if police is conducting the search. At the very least, they should look at her last phone calls and try to track her phone location around the time of her disappearance.
This is pretty scary. |
| They said no suspicion of foul play. This usually winds up being a fugue |
I hope so, and hope she gets the help she may need if so. |
What do you mean, exactly? |
