We live in Fairfax, VA. Initially, a place to donate would come to mind, but I am in a personal situation where I actually need to acquire the funds.
I appreciate your recommendations for the best place to sell items which are in gently used to excellent shape. I’m willing to drive. Thank you. |
You’ll probably get the most money, but also have to do the most work, selling things to individuals over FB marketplace. |
Agree. Or Ebay if it's mailable. |
Facebook, Craigslist or one of the consignment sales - MoCo has TotSwap but there are other ones in VA. |
facebook marketplace |
Agree with Facebook marketplace bc there is no commission or shipping. |
Craigslist is more work than FB, but if I want top dollar for something Craigslist is best, I guess because it reaches a broader market? I use CL for bigger ticket items and FB for clothes, and smaller toys. |
How much do you think you will get for used baby clothes! |
Actually a lot! I sell often and get $1-5 a set. 50 cents for onesies. I actually bought all my clothes used and then sold them for the same amount after using them all. I came ahead on nearly everything baby related. |
Original Post here. I have a ton of awesome, high quality brand ,baby/toddler clothes, yes! but I was mainly talking about Uppa stroller
set,, Peg Perego high chair, a Pottery Barn Kid crib, 4Moms Pack n Play/swing, and many more items in excellent condition. We expected to have a second child. Unfortunately, that will not happen. It seems like FB is the best bet for resale? |
Frugal is one thing, cheap is totally different and you are cheap. |
Why is she cheap? Babies rapidly outgrow clothes and there is no need to spend more than you have to. |
+1. I think this is totally smart. |
No, Craigslist will be more for those items. |
This. |
