| It's in a week and I still have no idea what to get. Any suggestions? |

| Price range? I would do a nice vacation. |
I'm a DW, and I agree. But, I think it depends on the woman. Some women love jewelry. While it's nice, I'd rather use the money on a vacation. |

I love the idea, but I don't think that we have the time to take off. |
| When we got married we didn’t have enough money for an engagement ring and her wedding ring was pretty basic. For our 25th she worked with a designer and got the ring she always wanted. I really had nothing to do with it except for paying for it but all I asked was that when other women admire it that I get all the credit. She didn’t get the ring until months after the anniversary but on the anniversary I told her what I wanted to do so I got full credit. |
| The only thing I want from my husband is a massage. He gives great massages. I do not wear jewelry. We don't have time off to go away. Every now and then he offers me a back massage, I am soooooo happy. So what is her "time" thing that she likes? For you to cook for her? Massage her? Get up early to walk the dogs every day? |

Ok if you can't take the time off, do what we do...we get a Friday and Saturday night at a hotel that is about a mile from our house. This way we don't waste time in traffic (and if the kids need us we are very close by)
We don't have childcare so we have one of the kids' art teacher watch the kids (I just wrote this for another OP so it might sound familiar to some folks) It's a hotel in a great walking location and we put away the car and walk to dinner and movies and most importantly we get a little romance and get to sleep in. Last time we brought a board game. The hotel we go to is older and eclectic; it doesn't have a pool or spa so it's cheaper than the others. We don't need amenities so it works out. |
| Put together brochures for a vacation and a note. Honey, you pick the date! |
