Where did your 33/34 ACT, 3.9 UW GPA get in?

Anonymous
Looking for kids with similar stats in last couple of years and where they got accepted and rejected.

33/34 ACT
3.9 GPA (private does not weight)
very good ECs
no major national awards, not curing cancer or starting a non profit

interested in where similar kids got in without hooks

thanks

How is your private school packaging and presenting the kids?

Just found out the 2019 matriculation of my NE private HS:
Out of 120 kids:

19 Harvard
8 Dartmouth
3 UPenn
2 Stanford
1 Columbia
1 Cornell
1 Brown
1 MIT

8 Middlebury
5 Williams
5 Tufts
3 U Chicago
3 Georgetown
3 Duke

Are these kids any smarter than yours? No. Do half the class have hooks? Probably not. The counselors have an impact.

Our State flagship. Your DC should get into your tie flagship with those #s if DC took a few APs.

Michigan, Wisconsin, BU

Michigan, Virginia, Wake Forest, Colgate, BC. Denied or WL - 2 Ivies, Northwestern.

4.3 WGPA
Highest rated schools admitted: UVA, William & Mary, UPenn (that was kind of a shocker, but opted against due to cost)
Also in at Pitt and UMass Amherst, both with some merit aid

Attending W&M

C'mon the answer is easy. A good portion of everywhere after the top 20, and virtually everywhere from 50 down.

Unweighted 3.9 GPA at our private is almost impossible to get. Are you at a big 3?

Not the poster but sounds like Nobles. And poster is in denial - Nobles is about money and how much the parents donate to Nobles and the college. And they are using athletics plus good grades (Nobles has grade inflation) to get in
