funny ideas for Halloween costumes?

Anyone have a funny idea for a kid's halloween costume this year? My kid is 2.5, and this is probably the last year I can pick something amusing/interesting before she decides that she wants to be a character from a book/show/movie.

No ideas...but also have young toddlers (BB identical twins!) looking for costume ideas!

Last year I saw a baby dressed like a shark. That was cute.

Um, at 2.5 I thought the most amusing/interesting thing would be to ask my dd what she wanted to be. She said “Larla be Cookie Monster. Daddy be Elmo. Mommy be Meow Meow...and Grandma be Meow Meow too.” And so that is what we all shall be!

(What’s really funny is she’s never even seen Sesame Street and only knows these characters from her diapers and her cousins’ Tickle Me Elmo dolls.)

I saw a toddler dressed as a tomato last year. He was the hit of the Halloween party!

I liked seeing so many Hilary Clintons a few years ago. And Ruth Bader Ginsberg.

What’s a funny political costume this year?

Here are some DIY ideas. Last year, my toddler, whose name is Frances, was "Bread and Jam for Frances." She wore purple pajamas with a white snap-front shirt, and we used brown fabric marker on the edges to make it look like crust.

What's really funny is how people always think their boring, typical, not unique toddler is OMG SO FUNNY HAHAHAHHAA CALL SNL AND JIMMY KIMMEL RIGHT MEOW MEOW OMG ALSO DID YOU SEE HOW SMART MY HARPER BABY IS??

Yawn. Not funny. What is funny is when she changes her mind and has a total meltdown about everyone's costumes.

Ok I’ve got it OP- a millennial!

Dress her in a tattoo onsie and a Coachella (or similar) T shirt and leggings and stylish uggs. Get her a beanie and some black framed glasses. Put a Starbucks cup in one hand and an IPhone in the other. Please. Do this for me.
