funny ideas for Halloween costumes?

Dress her in a tattoo onsie and a Coachella (or similar) T shirt and leggings and stylish uggs. Get her a beanie and some black framed glasses. Put a Starbucks cup in one hand and an IPhone in the other. Please. Do this for me.

Wow. This is so lame. Plus if the kid is 2.5 her mom is most likely a millennial so it’s not as funny as you think it is. People are really being jerks on this thread.

(What’s really funny is she’s never even seen Sesame Street and only knows these characters from her diapers and her cousins’ Tickle Me Elmo dolls.)

What's really funny is how people always think their boring, typical, not unique toddler is OMG SO FUNNY HAHAHAHHAA CALL SNL AND JIMMY KIMMEL RIGHT MEOW MEOW OMG ALSO DID YOU SEE HOW SMART MY HARPER BABY IS??

Sounds like you're going to be an asshole for Halloween.

Any animal or food is guaranteed to be cute.

The funniest costumes tend to be those incongruous with a tiny toddler:

For new walkers, one of the cutest things I’ve seen is the little old lady/man with a walker. RBG was also adorable last year, but this year I think most political figures are probably too controversial to lay on a toddler.

Rock stars, like Joan Jett. Movie stars, like Audrey Hepburn or Marilyn Monroe.

For little boys, or for Boy-girl twins, I’ve seen some adorable Popeye and Olive Oyls, and Danny and Sandy from Grease, on Pinterest.

Anything from a famous kids’ book: Madeline, the Cat in the Hat, Dorothy from the Wizard of the Oz, etc

Whatever you pick, personally, I think the best costumes tend to be home made and not too perfect. You can honestly stick a kid in solid black pajamas, paint on some whiskers and add a cat headband, and that’s going to be cooler than a head-to-toe Disney character ensemble out of a bag. Of course, not everyone has time for that, which is also fine.

Seriously, the oldest millenials are almost 40. I know, because I am one! I am about to turn 39. I realize the sterotypes are for the younger portion of my cohort, but people seem to think that "millenial" and 23 year old are the same thing, and they are not.

The cutest halloween costume I saw - twin babies dressed as pumpkins and the Dad put them in a crate like stroller wagon with some hay and it had a sign that said 5 cents and he was pushing it along in the mall.

My 3yo (girl) was Santa Claus last year and everyone seemed to love it, but especially 3yo who had requested it.

Isn’t basically everyone on a forum for discussion of kids under 5 a Millennial? Or maybe the very youngest end of Gen X but unlikely as those people are 40+ now. That doesn’t sound like a Millennial to me - it sounds like a Gen Z college student or recent grad. But I guess “everything I don’t like is Millennial” these days.
