Looking to work with a personal trainer for the first time

Anonymous
I'm a 45 year old woman who has never exercised. I walk, but that's it. I'm naturally slim and always have been (size 4).

But I feel like I really need to start strength training to ward off osteoperosis and I have no idea how to start. Was thinking about hiring a personal trainer.

I don't have a gym and don't know any trainers personally or through friends. I've emailed a few I found on a web site and they all charge between $90-$110 per hour. Is this normal? Seems high.

Some want to work with me in my home, others have their own studio. I have zero exercise equipment, so not sure how that works exactly.

Not sure where to start with this. Any suggestions?
