Your experience with low betas

Anonymous
I had my first bfp at 13 dpo where my beta was 20 (albeit blood draw was taken early in the AM). Going for my repeat on Monday. Do I have any shot or glimmer of a chance?
Anonymous
Probably not. Better to prepare for the worst and be pleasantly surprised. I’m sorry.

There is always hope, and stories online with successful pregnancies. But I miscarried when my betas were that low

My beta that started out very low, but doubled appropriately ended up being ectopic.
My two successful pregnancies started out with high betas.

But you really just never know.

I just miscarried at 7 weeks with an initial beta of 31 at 14dpo which then quadrupled two days later and continued rising from there. I wish it had just been a chemical, or better yet, a BFN. I am in a Facebook group where several women have had success after similar first betas, but unfortunately I wasn't one of them, and now I think if I ever get a low beta again I will 100% expect the worst. I'm sorry OP. As others have said, it's possible everything will work out, but I would steel yourself.

My 2successful pregnancies started out with betas over a thousand. My miscarriages had betas in the double digits.

My miscarriage had an initial beta of 29 at 9dp5dt. I've only done IVF, but 13dpo is the equivalent of 8dp5dt, correct? I've seen a 9dp5dt beta of only 22 become a completely normal pregnancy. So since your beta is a little bit early, there could be a chance.

My chemical was a 39 around that point. Sorry.

Both of my miscarriages had low initial betas, sorry.

How are your OP? Did it double?

My first beta was in the 50s. Then kept doubling. Successful pregnancy! Good luck!

hi it’s OP- blighted ovum at 7 weeks and just did my D&C. trying to get to zero as fast as possible so I can move on to the next FET.

So sorry OP. Rest up, I hope the FET goes well!

this is terrifying. how did you get through each day wondering if it would continue or not?

not the PP who you’re asking but I think with all things fertility you power through and move on because that’s all you can do. Weird question.
