How many days before FET did you start progesterone PIO?

Doctor told me to start PIO yesterday evening (Friday night) on a half dose with full dose from here on out. My transfer (of a PGS normal day 5) is scheduled Wednesday afternoon at 1 pm. The clinical studies are mixed about endometrial synchrony and receptivity but some of them say 120 hours is most receptive

Can anyone with successful FET share when you started PIO and how many days before transfer that was?

I’ve had two successful FETs with Shady Grove, and in both cases the transfer was on the sixth day of my PIO injections. Both 5-day embryos.

Thanks! do you remember if you took them in the evening versus the morning? so to be clear before your transfer you had five total PIO injections and some time after your transfer - that would have been your sixth PIO shot?

Sorry for all the follow up questions - some studies peg success to a matter of extra hours of progesterone exposure so i’m dying to know

I take them in the evening. I don’t remember for my first transfer but for the more recent one (which was just a few weeks ago) the first shot had to be taken in the AM and then another shot the same day in the evening. That was a Sunday. Then the remaining shots were in the evening, just one a day. Transfer was Friday AM. All shots were same dose - 1 ml.
