| when you are sick? |
|
Absolutely not. Neither do I with him.
BUT we both tend to power through minor illnesses (colds, upset stomachs, minor headaches) so I think that has something to do with it. If we are sick, we are sick sick. |
| Of course not. |
I get mad at DH, but he does not power through. He checks out. |
| No he is sympathetic |
| Are you the type who has a stuffy nose and acts like you're dying? Or constantly thinks things are worse than they are? Are you a hypochondriac? Because I can see being annoyed with that |
I am the same. Get mad at him when he is sick. Small illnesses seem to take him right out of commission. |
| Are you a martyr when you're sick? My mom is and I'm always amazed my dad doesn't lose his mind with it. |
| Yes. He tries not to, but has a one-day tolerance for any illness. After 1 day, he either pretends I don’t have it anymore, gets very irritable, or starts making passive digs at me. Sometimes all of those things. |
|
Normally no but DH is a hypochondriac..he recently spent the entire weekend in bed (after being out of town most of the.week) because he was sure he had e coli or cancer (no blood, no diarrhea, no vomiting just felt bloated and off). Turns out it was... constipation.
I have chronic stomach so, I'm just used to it. It did make me wonder what it must be like to generally feel good all the time. |
| Women don't get mad when you are sick, but they definitely treat you with contempt. You can never show a moment of weakness! |
| I can honestly say that I cannot remember the last time my husband was mad at me. He’s really too good to me. |
| Definitely not. He’s not going to be a 24/7 nurse but he always asks how he can help. Most of the time I just want to be alone. |
| Sick? Never. Frankly I can’t recall when he’s ever been really mad at me and we have been married 37 years. He’s a saint! His pain threshold is incredibly high. |
| Why are y’all marrying these man babies? |
