No, I remember that post. She and her original post really stuck out to me. She does sound...like a terrible person. Her poor sister. |
Anyone who uses the following:
Ugh Newsflash What are you babbling about |
+1 |
And the teacher trolls who tell parents to “cry harder” about school closures. |
Agree - the best skill on DCUM is to spot these people and ignore/disengage. |
+1 Me, too. It certainly came out not only in her OP but in her subsequent responses to other posters. The OP of that thread, who is the first quote above, is not a nice person. At all. I also feel very badly for her sister. |
The “roll tide” poster in the college forums. We get it already but not everyone wants to go there |
The people who don't read 50+ page threads, then "contribute" something obvious and well-worn. |
Aw, I find her excitement endearing! |
I find there is one poster in the Colleges forum who confidently asserts "everyone at x and y college" did this or that or the other, when she doesn't know everyone at either college.
A sort of blanket statement not backed up with a) info b) facts or c) insight. |
Depends. There was a poster recently participating in two threads insisting that it was illegal that adults cannot be in playgrounds unless with a child. Kept insisting it was true and was derailing to both thread since there is no such law in DC/MD/VA. When you’re speaking to a majority DC-area audience and want to bring up a law from Wisconsin, then say “in Wisconsin...”. |
And the "dear" posters. Save it, dear. |
Douche Ganoush and his betrayed spouse. |
People in Diet and Exercise forum who respond to posts with “give up sugar, gluten and dairy!!” - so unrealistic for majority of people. |
I used to think that until I tried Whole 30. I don’t completely avoid that stuff now but I have cut out 90% of it. It’s not that hard. |
