"Opening up" means risking your life

You want to live? Lose the weight. Especially if your BMI is 35 or higher. If you can't walk a mile or two without collapsing, you're in trouble.

Spend a little less time ruminating on the internet, put the soda and chips down and start getting fit. This thing will probably come around next fall for round two. All the whining about Trump won't save you.

Once again we have people who used to claim that all lives matter.

Except now it's "All lives matter Except

Except for old people
People with pre-existing conditions
Fat People?"

And they’re all pro life from the moment of conception to the moment of birth.

Umm, you can open up the country and still keep people safe. It’s not a binary solution.

So what is your plan to protect people? More than 80,000 people are already dead.

What is your plan to protect people if 50% of businesses go bankrupt?

Does unemployment not kill? No higher incidents of domestic violence, murder, crime, suicide, medical problems, people not going to the doctors for medical problems not related to covid, cancers not detected until too late, long standing businesses closed, people losing their homes to foreclosures?

Well?

You can have your cake and eat it too. Look at South Korea. We don't have to have death either from the virus or from economic collapse. All we need is a leader and an educated reasonable population.

Do you have statistics on death counts for all other deaths not related to COVID during this April and May?

Europeans and Asians don't want to risk their lives by allowing Americans into their countries.

What a sad, sad time we live in.

Wear a mask, wash your hands, vote straight republican, and hold China accountable. That’s how you keep people safe.
Now open the damn country up.

+1

The vulnerable are still getting it. Let the rest go free. If you are vulnerable or live with someone who is, then take precautions.

Right now, in Virginia, it is the nursing homes that have the problem. The poor people who live in high density are also vulnerable. Concentrate on those populations.
