She speaks Spanish well and has a very good accent. However, it is unlikely she would be able to sustain it over a long conversation. When being interviewed she uses filler phrases in Spanish. I recognize them because after spending a year in Spain studying abroad I could do the same along with added gestures and slight head movements that Spaniards made. What is ridiculous is that she pretends not to be a native English speaker and appears to search for words in English. It is sad she tries to hide the fact that her mother is an American doctor and has been very successful.

is. This is immediately apparent. It's decent mimicry but she is never able to speak in above a 6th grade level for any sustained amount of time. Honestly, if her Spanish is decent and she can teach it to her kids, she should be proud of the fact she is an Anglo-American who is passing on multiple languages to her kids and should work on having a bilingual household. But this farce is just ludicrous.
