He's growing it out and I really don't find it attractive. I came across an old picture of him with a hairstyle that I LOVED on him and it made me realize how much I really dislike his current hair. He told me recently he liked his new hair and asked what I think. I just kind of shrugged. How do I tell him I find it very unattractive on him?
Don't get me wrong, I think long hair looks great on some men, just not on my husband. |
| Let him figure it out on his own. How would you feel if he tried to control how you styled your hair? |
Honestly what men care that much. |
| Just tell him you preferred a different hairstyle. |
| Tell him. I tell my wife I like her hair better long. Being attractive for your spouse is important. |
|
I care what my wife thinks because she puts out. Sometimes.
If she starts putting out any less I would care less what she thinks. |
Dp I don't think op should and neither should you. You should be able to do what you want with your head. |
| He asked, you shrugged. Seems pretty clear that you don't like it. |
| "Hair-DO" ... ? My sexism comes out ... do men have hairdos? or just hair cuts? Sounds weird to me. |
Of course you can do what you want with your body, you can gain weight, get tattoos, get a nose ring, grow a long beard but you can count on your partner to be attracted to you if you make a big change. |
| Tell him how much money can be saved, and then cut it for him to suit you. |
|

You can tell him. Doesn't mean he'll do anything about it. My DH has a dumb goatee that makes me crazy.
I told him I don't like it. He keeps it. Oh well. |
| I’m certain that over the years there have been things he didn’t like about you and put up with: ugly clothes, weight gain (or too much loss), bad makeup, bad hair, hygiene issues. Deal with it as long as he’s happy. |
| Nonchalantly show him the old photo and gush about how much you love his hair in it. |
