I greet everyone who enters my house.

With his slippers in my mouth, absolutely.

Not at the door but when he walks into the living room yes I go and give him a hug and kiss hello. If I'm upstairs I'll go downstairs to do the same.

Actually, if I’m looking out the window by the door and see him pull in the driveway, I’ll wait to open the front door and greet him. But if I hear him come in the front door and I’m somewhere else, I don’t go trotting to the door. I expect him to come say hello, just like I do when I get home.

He always gets home first.

I’m usually asleep when he gets home at 9:30 pm, usually in the bed with one (or two) of my three little kids.

Yes, on all fours ready for him to mount me...

Um no. What is this, 1930?

No.

Why does he need to be greeted at the door?

I get home from work after him. The only one who greets me at the door is the dog.
