If you won the lottery...

Would you work at your current job?

No. Next question?

Yes

If it was enough that I would never need to work again, no. But if I have to work for money, my current gig isn’t bad.

I’m a nanny and I would stay. I love the kids so much! But after the kids didn’t need me anymore I wouldn’t work as a nanny for anyone else. I’ve been with the family 10+ years and I can honestly say I would choose the kids over the lottery. But other families I’ve worked for... I’ll take the money thanks haha

No! I would stay for 4-6 months to ensure a smooth transition and then get the hell out.

Y'all are generous. I would give two weeks notice and bounce. I hate this gig.

How much did the lottery pay me? More than $4M, yes retire immediately. $1M - I would rethink a lot of things, but insurance is a big issue.

Yes, I'd still wait on tables, but less hours while telling customers to eff off (The Azerbaijani blogger is a biatch customer).

I would definitely work, to keep my mind sharp.

I’m retired so I would really have fun. Heck, I am having fun so I would make sure my kids and grandkids had fun.

We have a relative who won the lottery with a group of coworkers. They each netted around $1.5million. Most quit, but she stayed on. The co-workers who hadn’t been part of the lottery pool were so nasty to her that she quit.

I’m a teacher. I would rethink where and how much I taught, but I think I’d still do it at least part time. Maybe just as a sub for my friends.
