Okay, we share our favorite song lyrics. Now, what is you least favorite song lyric? The one that when you hear it you cringe.

Mine is:

Spread your wings and let me come inside

- Rod Stewart, "Tonight's the Night"

oh, and also from Led Zepplin

"Squeeze my lemon 'til the juice runs down my leg."

Love the song so much, but yuck.

Ooh, ooh that smell / Can't you smell that smell? / Ooh, ooh that smell / The smell of death surrounds you. (Lynyrd Skynyrd)

Aaaah, "Escape." The worst song ever written. The most heinous line from that song:

It was my own lovely lady...

so cheesy

I love oldies... but not this one:

Young girl, get out of my mind / My love for you is way out of line / Better run, girl / You're much too young, girl

Oh, I have 2 more.

MacArthur Park - Richard Harris
Someone left the cake out in the rain
I don't think I can take it
Because it took so long to bake it
And I'll never have that recipe again

Ironic - Alannis Morrisette
It's a black fly in your Chardonnay
And isn't it ironic... don't you think

I'll never forget listening to this on the radio and the DJ was poking fun saying this stuff she's singing about isn't ironic, it's just a bunch of bummers. She should have called the song Bummers.

My name is Susan. I had a colleague who, whenever I'd arrive at work, would sing to me, "Suzanne, the plans they made put an end to you," from the James Taylor song.

Pretty much the whole song by Flo'Rida -- Right Round -- including:

"You spin my head right round, right round
When you go down, when you go down down"

At best, it's about strippers. At worst, it's about BJs. Either way, it's disturbing to hear on the radio, especially when your kids are singing along . . . and it's a surprisingly catchy song!

And not to get all PMRC, but what the heck was this song/group doing on American Idol earlier in the year? So not appropriate for the teeny bopper crowd!! Ugh.
