Onion peeling scene

I keep thinking about a scene from an older movie where the actress delivers a monologue while peeling an onion. The monologue ends with her saying something like 'now there's nothing left' and the onion is gone too. Anyone have any idea what movie this is?

Wtf is wrong w me that I thought this was going to be an S&Mish post about some fetish involving onion cutting/the resulting tearing up and eye pain, and I still clicked on it. AND was disappointed that I didn’t get to learn of some new kink that weirdos have.

I can totally picture the scene you're talking about. I feel like it was Geena Davis playing some sort of cut-throat producer or something, and she was giving a speech and cutting the onion? But I just did a search for that and came up with nothing. Sorry!
