| Mine wanders everywhere with her phone in her hand. Is this what they do? |
| No purse. Mini backpack instead. |

She uses a small cross-body bag to hold her phone + money/ID -- https://www.verabradley.com/us/product/Carson-Cellphone-Crossbody/25110-25110N13

| Hmm, maybe I’ll suggest those options. The phone in hand thing doesn’t seem secure. |
| LV neverfull medium. On weekends she cinches it up like a purse, and opens or like a tote schoolbag during the school year |
Yes |
| Yes, they use purses. |
And wallet case to the phone and that is all you need. |
| Mine has purses but mostly carries her phone in her hand. Her phone case doubles as her wallet. |
| Mine uses the wallet attachment to the phone most days but if she’s doing something like going to the mall or a movie she will use a cross-body purse so she doesn’t risk leaving her phone in the mall someplace if she stops to look at something or try something on. |
How do they carry tampons/pads? |
This is what prompted my 13 year old to start carrying a tiny purse. Not like she has functional pockets on any of her pants or shorts. |
| Crossbody bag with zip top from Madewell |

my daughter (rising 8th grader) uses a mini backpack like this. they seem to be very popular among girls her age. |
Yes. I have one daughter who will use a super small purse or wristlet. Her younger sister however carries her phone everywhere. If she can't put what she needs in that little slip in the back of her phone then she doesn't bring whatever it is. It seems to work for her. I don't know where I went wrong with either of them. I carry a purse large enough for the kitchen sink and I am ready for the Zombie Apocalypse or the Rapture, whichever comes first. |
