Nice collection thanks. Can you compute the average points per game for each club ? It would be interesting to compare the average PPG for local DA clubs vs local ECNL clubs too.

Posted. We also must keep in mind the Playoff/Champions League results vs the Showcase/NA Cup results. The playoff teams for FCV, McLean, BRYC face much more difficult competition than the showcase or NA cup level. Likewise, at U14, the teams are tiered in the DA. So FCV would never play the teams that VA Spirit would play. ECNL has the random draws, but VDA U14s got a bracket of death IMO.

Also, U14 ECNL is not a showcase. It is the champions league and Bethesda does have a team at U18/U19. There are holes or incorrect information on your list.

BRYC Elite Academy ECNL U18/U19 did go --- they are 0-2-0 as of this posting.

I agree. The poster above groups different levels of competition, which pads the stats of clubs that face lower level opponents in showcases, etc. You've got to compare apples to apples.

This is pointless. Aside from FCV, McLean, BRYC and Maryland United, it does not look like any other local clubs made it to the playoffs or championship. Adding showcase results for teams like Spirit or Loudoun that got hammered in their respective leagues and counting them the same as playoffs/championship results is like equating performance in WAGs tournament or in Jefferson Cup to performance in Hunt Country tournament.

Interesting to note:
FCV the only team to have a Championship/Playoff team at every age group. (U14 DA is all Showcase, but tiered so the U14s are playing some of the top DA teams in the country)

McLean almost sent a team - Missed at U15 - Doing well. Last years ECNL champ still in it after losing a ridiculously good class last year.

BRYC - Only 2 Championship teams, only 1 having a chance to move on.

VDA / Spirit VA / Loudoun - Getting abused

VDA 06 is playing in a national semi final tomorrow. Interesting how that was missed. Also you can’t lump all these teams together when some are playing champions league and others are not. Playing the top 32 teams in the country is very different than playing showcase teams.

You took all the time to post but got it wrong. Some of the 14/15 teams are in champions league. You have it noted as showcase. Do better.
