| That's not why at all. |
| For those “who” wonder |
I agree -- even though I wish I had not read that! |

THese are examples of extremist religious beliefs.
Many religions do not support such thinking. |

Both articles are more about judicial issues than religion or religious beliefs.
In the first case, the better procedure would have been to appoint a guardian ad litem to independently advocate for the child's interests. In the second case, the judge appears to be an appalling idiot. If anything, a person who is both parent and in a position of at least nominal public trust should be held to a higher, not lower, standard. |
Not sure why that matters to the point... in fact, upon reflection, let me rephrase: It does not matter. |
then I suggest that the "some" who dislike religion, consider that not all religious beliefs are alike. |
Yeah, sure, fine, good thing no one is saying that. At all. Ever. |
| Religion is a very broad word. |

There are plenty of reasons to dislike atheists (Stalin, Pol Pot, Sam Harris being an arrogant turd for starters).
Doesn’t mean a mentally stable person would extend their dislike into bigotry against all atheists. |
Bad, pointless, strawman argument for many reasons. Simplest one: The OP says "dislike religion". Not "dislike people who are religious". Let me know if you get that distinction or need it explained. |
Easy enough to fix. Doesn’t mean a mentally stable person would extend their dislike into bigotry against *atheism.* Your inexplicable rage, inability to grasp similes, and apparent personality disorder will be harder to fix. Stop trying to give atheists a bad name. |
Nice ad-hom dude. Wrong on all counts again. Since atheism is simply a lack of belief, how could someone be "bigoted" against it? The people in the OP did what they did because of their religion. See the difference? |
