That’s not a legit source.

Harry is out because he left.

He is still a family member. Of course he will be invited to family events. He’s just not a working Royal...his choice.

He will be at his mother’s statue unveiling in June. If he doesn’t show, then he’s more broken than I thought.
or he is being blocked

My bet is that he won’t go and he’ll use the excuse that he needs to stay home with his newborn.

I remember other posters making similar bets on Harry missing his grandfather’s funeral. We shall see whose bets win.

And depending how old the newborn or imminent the birth, it would be perfectly defensible for him to stay home.

Just hang around and watch - it's truly strange. Stealing thunder whenever she can.

If they didn’t want them stepping on their press cycle then they should have worked to keep them working royals. Meghan is self-interested but by all accounts she doesn’t like them and they aren’t professionally linked anymore so I don’t really get why anyone would expect her to care about stealing their thunder one way or another.

The problem with the “stealing thunder” allegations is that Harry and Meghan genuinely have a lot on their plates. They’re involved in multiple projects abd there’s always something happening.

This year, Will and Kate’s anniversary coincided with Global Citizen publicizing their involvement in the LiveVax concert.

Are Will and Kate seriously angry about that? Do they think it was about them? If so, that’s incredibly self centered. It would be weird to hold off announcing events that they host as part of their foundation too. The only solution would be for Harry and Meghan to quit their jobs and do nothing.

+1

How self-centered do you and your fans have to be to expect every person in the world to plan their lives around you and your calendar?

Not just people, but pandemics too! Covid is stealing their thunder

Uh - you do know they announced her pregnancy at Eugenie's wedding reception? In polite society that just isn't done.
oh the horror

Trashy people do trashy things. It's a pattern of behavior that they just can't seem to help. Don't complain about people not liking you when you violate their social norms. Gee, might her shitty behavior be why Meghan is disliked and not her skin color?

Right now it is automatic—unless parliament acts to stop it. Given Philip just died, Will & Kate are celebrating their 10 year anniversary this month and members of parliament are still willing to go on record calling to phase out the monarchy, it’s not looking good. The queen will likely reign for another 10 years or so, but after that, it’s anyone’s guess how long the BRF can hold on to the monarchy.

Especially if they steal the thunder by naming the baby Diana.

Diana Doria Elizabeth Philipa

They will call her DeeDee.

Archie and DeeDee.

Harry was reportedly surprised that not all the family members greeted him effusively on his recent trip. Gee, I wonder why?

Nah, that's the right way to do it. Harry thinks he's too cool for school. But even as a prince, the rules apply to him.

Well, most people who publicly criticize their family for being so awful that their spouse became suicidal wouldn’t want to join future family events. Which leads me to believe, the BRF weren’t so awful to Harry and Meghan. If they were that bad, wouldn’t they give up their titles and refuse to attend engagements with them?

I wouldn’t blame Charles one bit for blocking them at future events. Isn’t that what happened to Edward and Wallis? I bet if Harry were to return without Meghan, he’d be welcomed with open arms.

After the queen’s reign ends, Charles will be held to account for his behavior. The monarchy will be his to lose and it’s not a guarantee. It’s pretty much a given that the commonwealth will go, but there will be much debate in England as well. Charles with his messy divorce from Diana and similarly messy handling of Harry’s departure will be lucky to make it to a coronation. If anything this shows he’s particularly unsuited for the role, which naturally calls into question the wisdom of a hereditary office that is so costly to taxpayers.

Current MPs are already openly expressing a desire to end the monarchy after Elizabeth. This sentiment is only going to get stronger with time.

Disagree.

Charles will play the Grandfather King. He will focus on popular causes like the environment and historic preservation. Will, Kate and the kids will curate a very British brand built on service.

No drama.

Harry will have a few years of success here. They’ll get a bump when their daughter arrives. But he will regret walking away within the next 10 years.

Agree.

This is spot on. Charles will do just fine as King. Will and Kate will continue to step up their act and, as they grow, their kids will become more of a focus. If there’s one thing Kate will do well, it’s to make sure her kids are raised right and know how to perform their roles in the BRF.

The public interest in Harry and Meghan will wane as they age and become increasingly distant from the BRF. Charles and Will seem to be making sure they have no new stories to leak to the press. Let’s face it, the only reason anyone is interested in them is their connection to royals. One that is fully severed, they have no more scoop to sell. Harry is just another spoiled rich kid hussling to maintain his lifestyle and Meghan is a former D-lister forever trying to climb the social ladder. The big deals will dry up and they’ll blow through their Netflix and Spotify money.

At a minimum a referendum is coming.

The queen won’t abdicate. Her mom was a centenarian, so it’s likely she lives past 100 as well.

I believe the Queen wants the monarchy to end with her. I just can’t understand why she has abdicated as yet unless she feels her successors are unworthy.

This is all just so pathetic. Both sides. I used to be a meg and harry fan but am so tired of the constant news cycles....Can't it ever end?! When is enough enough?!

I haven't been following this thread, but came back after about a month and it just makes me sick. It is so nice to have Trump off of the airwaves and newscycles...When can this pair please just do their work without a global 24-7 deluge? Insufferable.

You know nothing about the Queen. You sound like a fool.

+1. This seems like a very good prediction to me. Only part I’m not sure about is whether H&M will manage to blow through their money. It certainly won’t happen anytime soon. We are talking about a huge chunk of change.

Charles ditched and escaped to Scotland while Harry was still in London.
I think it is safe to say that Charles is a terrible father.
