Trump Campaign verbally and physically assaults Arlington Memorial staff, illegally uses site for campaigning

“These 13 service members were alive when Trump was still president.”

63 service members died when Trump was president. He did not acknowledge any of them. He was right there in section 60 and walked on their graves.

Seems reasonable. So in this case, MAGA has the okay to believe the military, right? The MAGA playbook involves situationally believing the military depending on what's convenient in the moment.

So you believe this Marine is lying?

No, I have no reason to believe he's lying. That's what I clarified in the post directly below. Is this a case where you choosing to believe the military? Is it more convenient to the narrative this time?

As opposed to the military saying that the campaign violated the rules of section 60?

The rules not a single poster can list or link to?

Ooh ooh, I CAN!!!!

https://www.axios.com/2024/08/29/trump-arlington-national-cemetery-rules

You are so welcome. (I hope you are able to read.)

Trump followed all the rules.

The ANC says he did not. I believe them. Especially over a proven liar. Why do you disrespect our beloved national cemetery?

If you think I am disrespecting our beloved national cemetery, I can definitely say you are not discussing this issue in good faith. You are accusing everyone who doesn’t agree with you of disrespecting Arlington.

Do you think the Gold Star Families are disrespecting Arlington as well, by holding a wreath laying ceremony and visiting the graves of their sons and daughters with the man who they invited to lay the wreath?

Was this ceremony disrespectful?

The act of using it as a political ad on TikTok was disrespectful if that's what you're asking.

There was no campaign or election signs, slogans, etc, no exhortations to vote, etc.

What made the tik tok a political ad? Be specific.

What? It is from his campaign to support his candidacy. That is the point of campaign material.

The material is not from his campaign. It was from the wreath laying ceremony.

Uggg. The tik tok ad on from his campaign. Ok. Not the ceremony.

The tik tok has no campaign or election ads or verbiage or endorsements or signs or anything to do with the upcoming election. Biden was president during the Abbey Gate bombing. Harris was VP.

The campaign ad said "they". It compared his administration against their administration. But are you saying you don't hold Harris responsible? That's refreshing.

So you are designating a tik tok with no mention of the upcoming election, no mention of the Trump campaign, no reminders to vote, no mention of anything to do with either the campaign or election, a “campaign ad?”

It is from the trump campaign. Yes it is. Take it up with Arlington national cemetery if you object.

It’s not a campaign ad, it’s a tik tok. It doesn’t mention either Trump’s campaign or the November election. Trump was invited on the anniversary of Abbey Gate to participate in a wreath laying ceremony live streamed by mainstream media outlets.

You think the Gold Star Families want to be in Arlington? They do not.

The political ad was posted on TikTok by his campaign. He contrasted his administration with theirs. Campaigns are being conducted on social media these days. This should really be straightforward to understand, even for MAGA.

New democrat information about Trump’s disgusting Arlington behavior:

TRUMP WALKED ON ALL 63 DEAD SERVICE MEMBER’S GRAVES!!

He definitely found all the graves of those 63 dead Military Members and purposely walked across them. Of course he did! He’s evil!

A kindly and patriotic ANC staff member tried to stop Trump, but Trump laughed and had his campaign staff hold her in a headlock while he walked across all 63 graves!!

Quick: someone post this information on twitter!

All but one or two of the Abbey Gate are Marines. What do the Marines say?

Do you care about the feelings of the family members at all?

Yes I do. I am glad they had trump there if it was helpful to them. I am glad they have photos they can keep. The only issue is breaking the rules of the cemetery. There is very good reason for the rules against political campaigning in section 60.

Keep in mind a four star general can be kicked out of the military if caught telling even an insignificant lie. The general in question is a gold star parent himself.

This is such BS

He isn't "defending" Arlington National Cemetery. And neither he, nor the family, have the right to void the law in question.

The Trump campaign better hold on to the footage they claim proves they didn’t assault the cemetery worker. I bet Congress is going to subpoena it. Charges can still be filed up to a year after the incident. It’s going to look bad if they can’t produce it. After January 20, I think there will be hearings. Trump should fire those two campaign workers and get ahead of it. I’m mindful that Trump didn’t assault anyone here, it’s alleged two of his goons did.

Was it made and distributed by a candidate and did it refer negatively to his opposition (“they”)? Yes it’s a campaign ad.
