| Does anyone know what’s going on with all the recent threats. I heard some kids fear going to school and don’t. Principal has not said much and graduation is tonight. |

| There was a threat several months ago. I think around Halloween. However parents were not notified for several or more months. |

Graduation ceremony is tonight at the neighboring Wootton High. Hopefully the issue will be straightened up before then.

| The threat was unfounded. Police were at the school this am but not there today and not monitoring the graduation. The SRO will still be there. |

Like most MCPS high schools, Wootton's graduation is at DAR Constitution Hall. There's no way any of the school facilities could hold the three thousand attendees. Plus, DAR is really an elegant setting for such a milestone event. https://www.montgomeryschoolsmd.org/info/graduation/ |

You do realize that every MCPS had their graduation on the football field for decades, right? Some still do. I know Damascus still does. |

| DS Came home early today over the threats. I think the administration needs to address the issue with the entire school community and explain what they are doing about it. |
