Would you find this weird seeing a man and woman doing a walking meeting outside? They walk around the building instead of having a meeting inside. Both are married to others.
Does this give the impression of appropriateness? |
| No. Walking is healthy and it's actually easier to have tough conversations when you aren't face-to-face across a conference room table. |
Lol! Do you work in Reston? I walk with a Male colleage all the time. Different Male colleagues all the time. |
| I enjoy walking meetings - and have had them with men and women on nice days. |
They are avoiding the wire tap.
|
| I would assume they are having an affair. |
| I work on a college campus. Many on my team in various permutations walk around the mall, in groups or pairs. I walked around with a male college of mine today. We talked about event planning and a development publication and somehow managed not to boink under a tree. |
I do this all the time, but I work in tech in the Bay Area, and we have walking/biking meetings regularly. I've also had ping pong meetings.
No big deal. UNLESS YOU ARE MIKE PENCE AND NOT WALKING WITH "MOTHER".... |
|
They're walking and talking around the building in public, yes? Totally not a big deal. Especially on a day like today when it's lovely, why *wouldn't* you want to hold a meeting outside, if it's possible to do?
|
| No. I would not find it strange at all. |
I assume you are joking. |
No. That's what I would think. |
| I wouldn't give that a second thought. I am in a very male dominated industry and if I didn't have meetings with my colleagues I'd be out of a job. I've done walking meetings before, or outside meetings. I've also traveled with male colleagues, had dinner while traveling, etc. Never had an issue. |
That's cool. The world is full of different people, including the nosy, suspicious, delusional, extreme types. And then there's normal people. |
| I woukd think one of them is trying to seduce the other. Unless they are having an affair. |
