| I also do walking meetings all the time, with men and women. Not having an affair and frankly it would be easier to have an affair in my office with the door closed than walking around the office. |
Same here. 14 years in the same job, and I've been the only woman on my team that entire time. Thank God I don't work with a bunch of Mike Pence's! |
| So weirdo. So weird to see and man and woman walking and talking during working hours. What in earth was Marillyn Henson thinking... |
| I take daily walks with my AP. |
| Whenever I can, I have a walking meeting. I work in a very collaborative environment and no one thinks anything when they see people walking around together, going to get coffee or having lunch together. You're expected to interacted. |
| Only if they are holding hands. |
| why do you even give a f*ck? |
| so weird OP |
| Not weird |
| I don't understand why a walking meeting between a man and a woman is any more weird than a meeting behind closed doors. If they are outside walking around the building, how can the people do anything questionable? I (female) had a meeting with a guy outside, sitting on a bench because it was a gorgeous day outside. |
|
Not at all.
As long as they do not breathe a word to their spouses then everything should be okay. |
| Lots of people have exercise bracelets and have to log so many thousands of steps per day according to their exercise plan. People are very busy and maybe don't want to stuff their faces with high calorie expensive food at lunch. Walking around the corporate campus makes perfect sense--it's an efficient way to multi task and try to stay fit. |
I'm sorry you have no imagination. I get that you want to say of course it doesn't mean anything. Because it doesn't have to. But, please, you know, the walking meeting, the tête-à-tête, the sitting on a bench outside sounds romantic, private, and simply much more conducive to intimate conversation than a meeting inside an office or meeting room. |
| No |
Being outside where anyone could overhear your conversation is more private than being behind closed doors? |
