What was Sidwell thinking when they hired the crooked college fixer Rick Singer as their expert in a lawsuit?

Wow. OMG!!! |
Wow. They paid him $300 an hour for a pile of lies.
I don't think the parents' law suit was successful anyway. More to that story too, I'm sure. |
Well obviously they didn’t know he was crooked then—that just came to light. Just goes to show what a con man he was. |
Agree with this. He defrauded the school. Awful stuff. |
So what? He’s a criminal. We all know that now. |
But wouldn’t they have looked up the credentials on someone who was supposed to be their own witness? Nothing against Sidwell in particular, but they could have verified his credentials. |
Sidwell has a lot of money to burn. |
Family described in the story lost the case and is now appealing to the Supreme Court? Is there any public record of this case? |
An association between Singer and Sidwell is hardly a surprised. Sidwell is part of the well established, cutthroat hierarchy that is private education and the families who choose to associate with it will stop at little to maintain a perception of superiority. They may not be quite as establishment focused as NCS/STA, but it’s the same idea. Power is intoxicating... |
PP is nuts. |
Did you know he was a con man more than 2 months ago? Clearly no one else did either. |
Well said. |
It was only a matter of time before a connection was revealed. |
Given that he was a fraudulent "expert", does that mean that Sidwell will be liable for a retrial or the lawsuit? |
