Right? TRY HARDER, Chica! I'm a white woman who spent 10 years in Spain and Latin America and am about as functionally fluent as you can beyond being a native speaker. Her Spanish is intermediary at best. And her being multi cultural? Give me a break. You can incorporate aspects of other cultures into your own nuclear culture, but that doesn't mean you inhabit that culture or ever will. I seriously doubt she has spent any significant time in any culture apart from her WASP Boston origins because this would have been made abundantly clear to her.

I feel sorry for her oldest boy. The internet was criticizing her for posting far fewer pictures of him than the other kids. She recently explained that the reason was that he didn't like having his picture taken. Since then, she has been taking/posting tons of pictures of him...even though she knows he doesn't like it! Today's posts featured him laying poolside while wearing a mermaid tail, with a solemn look on his face.
