What is actually wrong with Britney Spears?

I keep reading articles that she is in bad shape and may never perform again. That she has to have someone else make decisions for her because she is incompetent.

What happened to cause all of this? Is she actually crazy? What is the diagnosis? Was she always like this before? If so, why could she perform in the past, but can't now?

I honestly think she's just really not that bright. I think the dumb starlet thing worked for her when she was a teen but it's not cute on a thirty something year old mom of two, and it's stressful for her.

Watch the carpool karaoke episode with her. She's just really, really, really not that bright. Can't even sing her own songs, obviously needs autotune for everything. James did WAY better than her. Everyone else can perform their own songs pretty well to very well. She couldn't at all, I really felt bad for her. James obviously did too. It was like she was in way over her depth.

She's also not really a great dancer. She keeps kind of rushing to get back into position for the next "move". It's distracting and annoying.

Her days are really over. She used sex appeal to sell her songs, not any kind of real talent, and it's not possible to fake it anymore.

And I say that as someone who actually kind of likes her.

MK Ultra.

Google the Dave Chapelle episode of "Inside the Actor's Studio" and he tells the whole story (using carefully selected language) to get you to really THINK about what happens to all these creative, strong people when they "get to Hollywood" to make them all go crazy! Why?? Why are some of the strongest people suddenly "going crazy?" Is it really that? Or are they resisting attempts to control them and then the PR machine goes into overdrive to make them APPEAR crazy?? "Thus...Africa!"

Watch the clip, OP. It's truly disturbing to think about.

But really. Why does this keep happening? Are all these performers *actually* crazy? Amanda Bynes? Britney? Dave? Jim Carey? Martin Lawrence? Shia LaBeouf? Sean Young? Miley Cyrus? Kanye West? Martin Lawrence? Really? All of them went nuts...temporarily?

I think Britney was so controlled by other people every minute of every day when she was young, and may have been brainwashed that she lost any capacity to mature. She’s a shell. She doesn’t have the fortitude of body or mind to be able to manage anything on her own.

Mental illness runs in the family.

She is bipolar.

Her grandmother, Emma Jean Spears, committed suicide in 1966 when she was just 31.

She died eight years after the death of her baby, who survived for just three days after delivery. She shot herself at the child’s graveside, leaving behind four other children, including Britney’s dad, Jamie Spears.

I cannot imagine the pressure she must have been under compounded with the scrutiny on her body and looks at such a young age. There are so many people in my own life that cannot manage stress all that well, can you imagine the multitudes of stress that she faced?

I could be wrong, but I don’t think it is “easy” to get put under conservatorship, which I believe she’s been under since 2008.

I really can’t speak to all of the above people but most people are just regular. Some of these people who are famous truly have something special but I believe what gives us their gifts also causes problems (thinking of Van Gogh, Hemingway, to name a couple).

People with bipolar disorder really suffer. The medications don’t agree with everyone. Some people are dull and listless with them and a bit out of it. It’s s terrible disease.

It’s quite possible if she’d stayed Louisiana, she would have married young and played a trophy wife while battling mental illness for much of her adult life.

She probably burned the hell out. So much pressure for so many years. Add in potential mental illness and you’ve got a recipe for a lifelong breakdown.

I watched this video that documents her breakdown. Sad.

Yes and things have gotten worse because her father is the one who makes the decisions, but his health has not been good. It's unclear what will happen when he's not able to do it. And you know that probably sends sharks circling because there's a massive amount of money involved.

She's a sad case really. I so wish she'd retire and find a small hobby to occupy her while tending to her mental health. I'd love to see her emerge in 20 years healthy and able to talk coherently about her struggles.

I noted that her fortune of $675M dwindled to $60M with Dads help.

Most likely she was sexually molested like most child actors.

She has PTSD and bipolar disorder and they work her to the bone.

She had a break down.

Breakdowns in my opinion is your body just saying... stop, stop, stop.

She needs to rest and therapy if she does not have enough money to live the rest of her life just relaxing, somebody need to be arrested.
