| I read that it helps the cervix suck up the semen. I unfortunately don’t always have success with it and I’ve also been trying for seven months and wondering if that’s been an issue. Has anyone gotten a BfP without it? |
No. It helps, but isn't necessary or else the world population would collapse and teen pregnancy would be a non-issue.
|
| Holy crap, no. If that were the case, the population would have died off long ago. |
Haha logically I know it’s true but to me it makes so much sense why an orgasm would help. I do hate how after doing the deed even if I put my legs in the air for thirty minutes a lot of it falls out and I wonder if any of it even makes it past the cervix. |
|
No definitely not.
Plus there are levels of orgasm... |

OP: Please learn about your body. If you were my friend, I would personally deliver this book to your hands:

HAHAHAHAHAHAH
No. |
| Not necessary. Misogynistic old men in positions of power make up sh!t like this in order to convince people that a girl or woman who gets pregnant couldn’t have been raped. Unless you believe the same, it’s best to clear this misconception (no pun intended) from your mind. |
|
Semen inside vagina.
That’s it. The woman didn’t have to feel a certain way about it. It’s like a lot of other things, which I think may be silly to analogize. But does the mixing bowl feel something when you put the butter and sugar and flour together? When you lift weights at the gym, and you FEEL better about it, does it make the weights work your arms harder? |
+1. That's THE BOOK. Read it, OP. |
| DH here. For me, absolutely yes. |
| Why don't you just take care of it yourself after your husband is done? Serious question. And you can still do the whole legs up fetal position thing. |
| Wtf? How do you think women get pregnant after being raped? No, it’s not because they had an orgasm. |
| ^^The woman did not have an orgasm, just the man. |
| Wow. |
