Gifts from America to take overseas?

Anonymous
I will be taking my kids to Asia for the first time. We will be going to Korea. I would like to buy some gifts that are American.

Is there anything that we have in America that isn’t readily found in other countries?

My extended family includes children ranging from ages 7-17.

I know I personally enjoy food gifts from other countries. My one friend moved from here to Asia and she said she missed certain American cereals that she could not get there.

Magnetic tiles were a huge hit with the kids in my family when I went to Sri Lanka but those are probably available in Korea.

I've taken maple sugar candies, pralines, and divinity to my European in-laws. They found them all kind of strange but certainly different and very American!

Shiny pennies, nickels and dimes! Low cost and kids seem to love coins.

Is your extended family Korean or American? I am not sure if you are looking to introduce them to new things or bringing memories from home
