Are there any kids who are into American sports? When we go, we bring official gear from local baseball teams/basketball teams that are also popular over there. Hats, jerseys, that sort of thing. That has been a big hit with kids.

Please do not do this.

I wouldn't make it your main present, but there are kids who go for this stuff. My eight year old this morning was talking my ear off about his coin collection, which is almost entirely made up of spare change from his uncle's travels.

Yeah, I don't know if this is still cool to kids today or not (coins are still choking hazards for us ), but I definitely horded foreign coins when I was kid. They would turn up in my folks vending machines. But I grew up working class in the Midwest, so even Canada seemed exotic. Maybe it is different for the jet set?

I'd go for more local brands like See's Candies chocolate.

Sports team Jerseys. Otherwise they will have just about everything there

Believe it or not, there are See’s stores in Asia, including Korea.

I usually bring girradelli (sp) chocolate, some locally roasted coffee, and other locally made items like fun soaps, lotions, and souvenir items like teatowels and something practical

How about peanut butter jelly combo? Smuckers makes one. We eat it all the time.

I bought some praline pecans and sour patch kids from Costco. I also bought some Ferraro chocolate. I really like these personally. I’m not sure if they are available in Korea.

Op here. I regret asking my one cousin what sport their kids played. She said golf. Now do I buy just her kids golf clothing. I don’t know their sizes though.

Bring them a big wheel of cheddar.

Bring Bourbon for the adults. Bring a hand churn ice cream maker for the kids along with salt, chocolate, and vanilla flavoring. Of course you have to show them how to use it.

You already know that your cousin is pretty well off, right? Golf is a very expensive sport in Korea, not like in the US. It’s so expensive in Korea that some Korean men pay international airfare to go abroad to play for a few days. If your cousin named GOLF for her kids’ sport, it already tells me so much about this family. You could take peanut butter as the special gift, just so you can see her speechless shocked face. JK. In all seriousness, there’s nothing this family can’t access in terms of material goods. Maybe it’s time for something unique and golf themed from Etsy.
