Sock puppeting on this thread?

I am asking only because the poster dared someone to ask you. Starting at the bottom of page 8 of this post, someone thought there was someone sock puppeting. Frankly, I find this entire thread a little distressing to think that this many people who are hyper focussed on kids who are hard workers, aka "strivers." Even if it isn't sock puppeting, if you discover that it is mostly one or two posters who are posting about "strivers" being horrid people, I will feel better about DCUM.

It's a long thread to do an exhaustive search for sock puppets, so I haven't done one. While the poster who said she was a new poster is not sock puppeting, whether or not she is a new poster is subject to interpretation. The post to which she replied saying she was a new poster was not her first post in the thread. However, that post quoted several other posts, none of which were hers. So, she was new to that series of posts.

I thought that thread seemed driven by a sock puppeting lunatic as well. Couldn’t she just be using her WiFi and cellular to talk with herself?
