How much to tip hotel valet and housekeeping?

Staying at a hotel where ceros $40/day and the suite is about $600/night. What’s typical these days? Thanks.

I didn’t think tipping was ever included in the service industry unless explicitly stated. I assume the valet kids and housekeepers don’t make more than $12/hr.

Usually for valet it's $1 per bag. Housekeeper is $5 a night, sometimes $10 if it's a big suite.

What’s ceros?
For a hotel that’s pricy, like yours, $5-10/day for housekeeping. I do lump sum for the valet, depending on how many bags. $10 or so for our family of 3.

Thank you everyone. Maybe I'll alternate between $5 and $10 per day for housekeeping. Ceros was iPhone autocorrect of valet for some reason.

The cost of the room does not factor into my tipping. I leave $5 per day regardless of if I am at the Conrad or the Hampton Inn. Scrubbing a toilet really doesn’t get easier/harder at a different price point.
