In the morning light you didn't look so nice
Guess you'd better hitch hike home

Wrinkles only go where the smiles have been.

(If anyone can name that tune, I'll be suitably impressed.)

From The Who...

You welcome me with open arms and open legs,
I know fools have needs but this one never begs.

"When Barry White saves your life
Gets you back with your ex-wife
Barry White.......Barry White....."

Blues Traveler
I pick up my smile put it in my pocket
Hold it for a while try not to have to drop it
Men are not to cry so how am I to stop it
Keep it all inside dont show how much she rocked you

Change your heart, look around you
Change your heart, it will astound you

I have no idea what the song was actually talking about, but when I'm stuck in a rut, I sing that to myself! Sad, eh?

Jimmy Buffett, Barefoot Children in the Rain

Great son. Now it's going to be in my head all day.

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;

A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;

A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;

A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;

A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;

A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

everytime I hear this song from the Sex Pistols I immediately think of the Bush Adminstration

Liar, lie, lie, liar, you liar, lie, lie, lie
Tell me why, tell me why, why'd you have to lie?
Should've realized, should've told the truth

Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me.
I once was lost but now am found,
Was blind, but now I see.

Oh, that's too funny because I have a Sex Pistols song I sing when I think of Bush:

You got a problem
The problem is you
Problem, what you gonna do

Show me, show me, show me how you do that trick, the one that makes me scream, she said. (The Cure).

What if God was one of us? Just a slob like one of us? (Joan Osborne)

It's not a habit, it's cool
I feel alive
If you don't have it your on
the other side
I'm not an addict (maybe that's a lie) (Not an Addict, K's Choice)

And it's a bittersweet, symphony, that's life...
try to make ends meet, try to find some money, then you die... (The Verve)

I'm not saying these are the best songs, just ones that came to mind for, I could picture myself saying or thinking these things. Some of them I like the music that goes along with them, some of them (particularly the Joan Osborne one) I don't.
