The coat is nice, it just doesn't look nice on Ivanka. The PP is correct that it's too short waisted for her, looks too small in the shoulders/armpits (maybe the princess seams aren't well aligned for her) and the sleeves are too short. Taking those things together, the short hem gives the impression that the entire dress shrunk or that it's a petite size when she needs a regular size.

The glaring, large white buttons cheapen the look but they wouldn't be so bad if the damn thing was sized properly. Just because one can button a coat up without it puckering doesn't mean that it fits.

Can someone do an expose on the photographer who takes the daily pictures of Ivanka leaving her house? When I saw the pictures of her leaving her building in NYC, I understood. I mean, it's NYC and there are paparazzi all over the place. But to have a photographer in DC taking these pictures? I swear, Ivanka hired this photographer to make herself feel more important. Someone get to the bottom of this!

For all of our sanity, I think we might need to grade Ivanka on a curve.

That being said, as someone who is a non-standard size (petite with broad shoulders), Ivanka's fashion choices are an ongoing tragedy for me. Why, why can't someone who can obviously afford to have her own personal, full-time tailor choose to dress in such ill-fitting clothing?! I take it as a personal offense that she squanders an opportunity I would kill for.

It really is the squandering that bugs me, too. Having mysteriously made $82 million dollars while working as a public servant in the White House, she could afford to have clothes custom made. She doesn’t.

I actually think she does have a hard body type. Her boobs are too large. I have a similar body type (except I'm petite) and so many shirt pucker and gape. But yeah, she can afford custom clothes.

The stilettos are dove grey. But of course they barely don't match the coat. I like the color and plaid of the coat but agree the cut is all wrong to start with and even wronger on her. Still, grading on the Ivanka curve, this outfit is an A-.
