| Kenyon College in Ohio. Probably a top 5 most beautiful campus, but given its remoteness, it might not provide as good an all-around experience as some other great campuses. It is top notch, though |
The dog it was that died. |
Texas could easily go blue. The people telling liberal and progressive students to avoid Texas are either foolish or Republicans. |
Also Sewanee. |
If you are looking at the complete campus, I think LACs (e.g. Kenyon, Sewanee, Middlebury, Wellesley, Mount Holyoke, Richmone, etc.) are better and more consistent as a group than large universities. Large universities may their signature pretty areas, but often large sections of the campus are not nearly as nice. |
not if you have children of child-bearing years My husband grew up in TX and agrees that he isn't sending our children there. |
| Any SEC campus minus Vanderbilt. Have you seen the arse there? |
| St Mary’s college of Maryland |
Tennessee, Kentucky, & Texas A&M aren’t anything to get excited about. Arkansas is nice. Bama, Auburn, Mississippi, Missouri, Georgia, Oklahoma are very nice. Haven’t seen the rest. |
+1 it is VERY remote but the beautiful campus, stellar academics, and campus activities more than make up for its remoteness. Loved my time there!! |
Describing OU as beautiful is...interesting. |

Pepperdine
UCLA UC Santa Cruz Claremont UC Berkeley UC San Diego |
| Lewis & Clark is beautiful. |
Williams has a stunning location but I found the campus buildings surprisingly on the shabby side. |
UC San Diego’s campus is ugly, concrete buildings mixed with new construction. Hardly any green space or quads. |
