O.k....so we are to believe that she was so tipsy drunk that she fell asleep in her party clothes and makeup. Put together a sloppy little tea party for her daughter and then just...forgot about doing it? Patsy is the only one who talked about doing the shopping. She went to the grocery store, she planned Christmas breakfast. John said that the kids often put fruit on their pancakes. Pineapple was a favorite....of course you would buy pineapple, right? |
If she bought pineapple so often, then of course she forget when she last bought it. We buy cereal all the time, I have no clue the last time I bought it. |
I spend $1700 a month on groceries, I don't remember everything I buy FFS. I buy a lot. |
How did the flashlight not break the skin though? Or whatever object? |
It would seem that she would know whether she picked up pineapple from the store. Either definitely "yes - I picked up fresh pineapple" or definitely "no - I did not pick up fresh pineapple". That's all she had to say. But what she said was "I don't remember". |
Your spouse never picks things up at the store? People never bring food to your house? You have to remember how incredibly traumatized these people were after finding their daughter had been murdered. When you are traumatized your brain does not work as well as usual, particularly your memory. This is the reason that eyewitness testimony is so unreliable. So if you had to recall everything perfectly for a police interview and you somehow didn't remember exactly right, you could be called a murderer, particularly by an inadequate law enforcement agency and the media who wants you to be guilty. It dumbfounds me how quick people are to think something so minimal equals murder- Patsy wore the same clothes twice- she must be a murderer Patsy can't remember if she bought pineapple- she must be a murderer JB wet her bed a lot- she must've been sexually abused Her brother, Burke was jealous- he must've struck her The lady police officer thought John looked guilty- well then he must be! The police thought Patsy looking through her fingers at them and crying was strange- she must be guilty And on and on |
Maybe those people who spend $50 a week on groceries remember every item they buy and every time in their pantry. Patsy was rich, had a huge house etc. She didn't fret about every time she bought. |
I remember everything. Especially fresh items that need to be used or go bad. And especially if I have a trip planned. |
Did she ever wash off the makeup? Maybe she left it on from the night before. And threw on the the clothes from the night before just to quickly get up and get everything ready for their trip. Just this morning I threw on my clothes from yesterday to walk the kids to the bus stop. After I worked out I took and showered and got dressed for the day. I don't see the clothing and makeup as an issue - at all. |
She was a planner though. She planned Christmas breakfast. She knew what she bought. |
When I have a party, especially a big me. I go to the store like five times. I wouldn't remember a detail like that! |
I wouldn't leave heavy makeup on my face from the night before. But I'll throw on yesterday's clothes before I've showered and got ready for the day. I wouldn't take a trip like that though. |
But you are not as wealthy as them. You presumably sound worried about food spoiling. They lived a different lifestyle than you, they weren't going to cry if some food was wasted. |
There are strong indications it could've been though. |
Yeah, but Christmas pancakes served with your kids' favorite fruit? You wouldn't remember planning a very specific meal like that? |
