Harry and Meghan have also been surprisingly discreet, only setting the record straight a few years ago, about the abuse Charles and Williams heaped on them directly and through their "secret" compact of feeding the tabloids lies about the Sussexes to boost their own coverage. The Sussexes are better people than the Waleses.

Preach.

(Though I do agree with the other poster about giving Kate some grace.)

Same.

Don't most people understand how screwed up Charles is and how his shenannigans impacted his kids?

Ariana Grande looks ridiculous as Glenda with that blonde hair. And way too skinny.
But the hair especially. Ick.

She truly looks unhealthy. And when she gave an award at the VMAs, I asked my teen “is that her actual voice?” Because good googly, that is awful

+1. And they are both deeply insecure about it. To the point they both spend tons and tons of money to manufacture stories about them being "genius."

What is repugnant about Beyonce?

Just about everything.

Cheesy and waaaaay overhyped. The "music" gives me a headache.

I feel like we are supposed to publicly celebrate that white historical figures were made into black characters, but it seems disingenuous to change these people in this way. And people would be screaming if this was done the other way. It’s just kind of stupid and overwrought.

Which white historical figures are you talking about?

Umm Alexander Hamilton for one.

I actually can't believe the PP even asked this question. Seriously??
I can't believe that someone is using Alexander Hamilton as an example of an historical figure being turned into a black character. I take it we're talking about the musical Hamilton? It's hardly a serious biography of the life of Alexander Hamilton.

Fine, if it’s no big deal, then let’s have a musical about Harriet Tubman in which she is played by a white woman.

Go for it. But even if it's a musical, it might not make much sense as we're dealing with the issue of slavery.

Yes!!

This.

I’d even go with “Washington Football Team” over the uninspiring, seems like it was chosen by a 7 year old, “Commanders.”

Me too. I’m not a big theater person to start, but musicals are the worst.

I don’t think Kate Middleton really had cancer.

I don’t care how much access she has to professional hair and make-up, she still looks amazing to have supposedly endured chemo and whatever other treatments.

I’m a long time fan and I’m good with changing the name. I think WFT with existing color scheme was decent. If Commanders sticks, I’m up for a color scheme change.

I think she may have had pre-cancer (as William once let slip) or cancer 1A. Pippa said Kate "wasn't sick in the traditional sense," and pre- or early-stage would fit that. But Kate told us a year ago she was "cancer-free," and since then she's been skiing multiple times, vacationing in Mustique and on a Greek megayacht, and basically doing anything but work. I'm really over Kate's PR people and fans playing the cancer card to excuse her laziness. Such disrespect to those of us, like me, who have had actual cancer.

WFT for life - we can be the first to adopt that and with all the futbol/soccer loving fans in the area it makes total sense. Commanders is a JOKE!

NP. I’m a “brown” person and also find it annoying when 21st century productions of historical stories/events include nonwhite actors playing characters who were obviously white. It feels like stupid pandering.

You would HATE Les Mis in London right now with Inspector Javert and he easily was one of the best performers. **** off with that nonsense.
