Potomac Yard (Alexandria) HOA — Issues?

Anonymous
Ok we’re 53 pages into this thread and it’s just going around in circles. Can you all take this convo back to your HOA’s internal Facebook group/message board?

I’m all for critical thinking and having strong opinions. But this goes way beyond that.

That's funny. Because the only person here universally despised, is you.

And who am I? I’m possibly like 200 people in the community!! It’s hard to narrow down based solely on the evidence of “doesn’t like FC.”

I don’t live in the community. In fact I don’t even live in the DC area any more.

However, I’ve come to conclude that I don’t like FC.

Okay ungarage owner on Van Valkenburgh lane.

Lol. Never heard of it.

You’ve lost your mind.

The city requires you to have 2 assigned parking spots on HOA common areas.

Why are you repeating this? This has already been debunked as completely false. Why on earth would the city mandate this? And do they mandate it for each house in the community, which would be the only equitable take on this if the city is truly involved (it's not)?

I was being facetious. This statement is absurd.

Regarding the recent discussion, I respectfully disagree. I believe this thread reinforces why homes with driveways and garages yield more per square foot in DMV.

Nobody’s saying people should join his complaint. But it’s telling that NOBODY else has seriously pursued this issue. FC is the only one who gives a crap. Bc it’s a baseless suit and they have better things to do with their lives.

I'm not Frank and you know this suit is anything but baseless.

Your attempt to portray yourself as some great neighbor/good guy irks me when you are completely comfortable doing something that is, in effect, stealing from your neighbors.

What caused you to drop your dishonest argument that Alexandria forced your hoa to provide these assigned parking spaces? You are far too comfortable peddling dishonesty.

What is your perspective on the likely outcome of this case. In your opinion, will the board president avoid public disgrace by the HOA offering a settlement, or will the board president have the courage to take this to trial? By taking this action, will make the entire community and the DMV aware that units without garages in Potomac Yard do not have dedicated parking.
