I don’t understand your response. Why can’t the Tuohys live without referencing Oher constantly? The fact that the tuohys already had money means nothing. They still profited off of Oher and won’t stop. Oher would have gotten the nfl without them. |
Disagree. Need a stable home & an incredible amount of tutoring for NCAA standards. |
The delusion indeed. But for the Tuohys, Oher would not be a household name. Nobody cares that much about football players and their humble beginnings. Look at who plays football today, people with means refuse to let their kids play tackle football. It's becoming a gladiator sport. |
Oh really? Sure about that? |
Scared much? Gotta wonder how much the Tuohys are paying for their bucket of hate lawyer. It’s so funny how they still try to paint themselves as loving Christian parents to Oher and at the same time hire a lawyer known for dirty tricks and smearing other parties. Just makes it so clear who they are. |
There is a slim chance Oher actually wrote his autobiography. It must have been ghost written. |
The dad made it sound like they had input. |
This is humorous. Schools get around this all the time. A stable home is a requirement now? What planet are you on. |
There’s a slim chance there would be a market for his book had his story not first been The Blind Side. They all benefited. |
Question: who was Oher’s agent during the draft and through his professional career? |
Yes. He was already a top recruit before he lived with them. |
You don’t have to go to college to be in the NFL. He could have done walk on try outs and with his awards prior to moving in with the Tuohys he easily would have gotten a chance to try out for a team. I knew a guy who was active duty in the military and tried out for the NY Giants and the team was helping him through the process. It happens. The Tuohys are only famous because of Michael and LA constantly talks about him in her speaking tours because that is the only interesting thing about him. |
Even in 2011 I believe he mistakenly thought conservatorship meant that they were technically family. Even at that time. This is what was portrayed to him when he was 18 by the Touhy‘s and their lawyer who arrange for the documents. Further to the mother had been portraying herself in public as an adoptive mother. Why would he think anything else about the conservatorship? |
Lol seriously stable homes got football players… since when. |
If he was too dumb to write his own book, read it, and understand what conservatorship meant why are supposed to believe this foster care kid who barely went to school was suddenly going to be smart enough to improve his grades, satisfy the NCAA, and navigate the recruiting process all on his own with no outside support and investment? |
