Who turned and would know where those documents are hidden?

Did Don Jr or Ivanka secretly cut a deal?

Was it Jared?

Please share a reputable source claiming this.

This guy has pretty good information - you can check out his feed since the warrant was executed.

What the FBI is not required to provide is the underlying affidavit from the FBI agent that is filed in conjunction with the request for a search warrant. This is what Judicial Watch wants. It is not usually released as it's considered protected by investigatory authority - i.e. - the authorities don't have to open up their books until they charge you.

Is this why Cip was so cagey when under oath in front of the Jan 6 committee? He refused to detail direct interactions with the President.

And again, that goes back to DOJ not commenting on ongoing investigations until there’s an indictment.

I maintain that the speculation about Meadows cooperating is correct, although there’s obviously no proof at this point.

Who are the designated custodians? I remember Philbin and Kash Patel but are there others?

Yeah, that tracks. No shame.

If you look through prosecutions of people selling classified, the people selling really didnt make much money at all, certainly not enough for any normal person to think represents a good risk/reward proposition. Trump is a wealthy man and can always make money selling his time as a speaker, etc in the same way that prior presidents did. Espionage is for nobodies, middling professionals usually no higher than GG-15s.

Oh, I don't think he is looking for money in return - he's looking for foreign help for another win in 2024.

You'd think he would sell agreements to support certain policies or actions in exchange for help. Not a classified document, like a peasant.

Middle class bureaucrats sell secrets for cheap because they have a cheap price (usually it’s about making themselves feel important and less bored) and so why would foreign governments overpay? Trump is f selling documents for $100K—if he’s selling them, it’s so the foreign entities don’t call the debt on his family or release whatever kompromat they have on him. He is super in debt to foreign banks and probably entities more shady than banks.
But I rather doubt he sold anything—he probably doesn’t even know what’s in the boxes but has someone pack up stuff he thought might be worth something. I’d love to hear from whatever lowly schmuck packed/loaded the boxes

One of the reports from when this came up before stated that he had packed the boxes himself.

I just have such a hard time imagining him reading even the spine of the binders that would fill 15 boxes.
Although it also sort of reminds me when you are too lazy to sort through papers to clean out your office when quitting a job and so just put everything into off-site boxes and tell someone to send it to offsite storage.

+1 It’s worth skimming the prequel thread to this one, that covered all of the Trump administration’s ripping up and chewing and flushing and stealing documents before we got to this point. All the reporting in there has been borne out and is still relevant. https://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/1035099.page

Yes, but there are two problems with that. President's are not allowed to take any documents or papers with them when they leave office. He knew this at the time. In addition, he seems like the type that would keep all the documents he thinks are important in his office so they'd be somewhat presorted. He also seems like the type of guy that would not realize that classified documents are logged out to individuals and not limited to a single paper copy.

There's an easy way to clear this all up. Trump should release the warrant and inventory. Josh Hawley even agrees.
