She said fine and went on a date. TK is smart, charming, funny. She liked him. Frankly if you were stuck having sex with Joe for years and NFL TE would sound pretty good. They kept going. What is bring overweight based on? He is 6'6" and 240 pounds. He can compete with the fitness of any living professional athlete. He's the best tight end in the NFL. Kelce spends about two hours a week running up and down a football field doing ridiculous plays. I hate the Chiefs, and one of the reasons is because he is so good he makes it impossible to beat them.

Totally agree. Both have been described as goofballs by those who know them. While that type of behavior doesn’t appeal to everyone, they found it in each other and that’s all that matters.

Uh I am not a Travis or Taylor superfan but I am an NFL fan and this is a weird take. As is the idea that Travis Kelce is overweight. He might be someday-- it can be hard for ex-pro players who are naturally big guys to maintain healthy weights once they aren't playing. But he's super healthy now. He or baby has to eat a special diet to maintain a higher weight during the season because of how hard they work. This is not uncommon especially for taller players.

Taylor at best is 22 -- she never grew up. She stopped growing emotionally. So I do not think the drinks are off. It is what you do when you are 22. Luckily for her she now has a man that also is stuck maybe at about 25. That is why their relationship works.

+1 They both seem like mid-30s people who are stunted and have a lot of money acting like they are in their 20s. Both seem to really like attention. Kind of perfect really!

This is a funny take to me. What does “acting like they are in their 20s” even mean? That they are having fun together? That they don’t have kids yet? Drinking and partying? None of that is just a 20s thing.

They are both hugely successful and very business oriented. They are both motivated. That all shows maturity.

Neither of them are stunted at all.

I think Taylor is great but I actually agree she's kind of stunted. And him even more so. I know a couple IRL who actually remind me a lot of them. This couple is now in their 40s with a kid and I still think they are immature. A lot of it is the way they present and carry themselves. It's all like "aren't we cute" -- it's self conscious and self absorbed. In T&T's case I'm sure it's a lot the result of being the public eye for their entire adult lives and not having people around them who criticize them or disagree with them. They are too successful to have that kind of low level conflict in their lives especially Taylor.

A lot of immaturity around them too in Taylor's circle of friends -- a lot of self absorbed people who don't take a ton of responsibility for themselves. Again including some people whose work I like. But also being youngish and wealthy and famous and beautiful is not a recipe for maturity and levelheadedness. Look how many of Taylor's friends have effed up relationship histories (look at her relationship history) and all the drinking and partying. I'm not a teetotaler or something but at some point in your life maturity means letting go of the short-term fun of that behavior all the time in order to focus on things that are more lasting. Whether that's your marriage or kids or charitable work or whatever. Something bigger than you. Being successful and good at business is not "maturity" in the way I mean.

Short term fun? Taylor is one of the hardest working women in the business. She wasn’t gifted with a perfect body or looks, she become a pop star because she writes her own songs, prolifically, and works hard at the business. She said herself she’s smart and hardworking and in the world those aren’t seen as assets, but she’s laughing all the way to the bank.

Is she stunted? If so, she’s doing very well for herself. I know some really stunted people who are not doing even a tiny fraction as well as she is.
