Not looking to be too dressy. Also, any suggestions on what to wear on top if it's chilly out?

Are you f-ing kidding me?

The dress is $150. The shoes are $700. I'd rather buy 5 more dresses with that money.

I'd wear something like this, too.

I like the boot/shoes that the first responder identified, too (just find something cheaper as that look is popular now). But, they don't look good on everyone, imo. They look terrible on me b/c I'm short, with short legs.

these are nice if you're 50! They're VERY conservative. I'd opt for a black bootie like the PP but not the $700 ones or a peeptoe platform.

I'd just go to DSW and get whatever I could find on clearance.

Ouch! Well, not yet 50, but getting there.

yep, i agree.

i feel like since the dress is pretty simple, it gives you a lot of flexibility with what kind of shoes you could pair with it.

Sheesh. She was trying to give an example of what she'd wear. I'm sure you can find shoes similar to those for much cheaper.

I would wear a patent black sling back heel. You are likely to get some mileage out of them in the future. Booties are too trendy for me and unless really lanky, very hard to pull off. The other shoe with the red trim was cute, but I didn't like the chunky heel. I would go for more of a stilleto or close to it heel. Slingbacks are very flattering to most legs. Have fun! Cute dress. BTW, you could pair with a sweater coat and tall boots for a more casual night out too.

Agree. Someone who wore that dress with these shoes would be waving a great big 'personality disorder' flag.

You can wear almost anything with that dress I think. I would wear tall boots with it, but you can also wear different colored shoes. I don't think you have to stick with black or dark colors. I'd wear a sweater coat or cardigan over it.

I really like it and I like the way it's styled by Banana Republic on their site.
