| Golds? WSC? |
| Where exactly? |
| What are your goals, OP? What do you want? Equipment? Classes? |
| Lifetime |
| VIDA is better than Golds and WSC |
| The one you will go to regularly. |
+1 Whatever is close to your house, close to your office, easy to park at, or whatever else you need to make it easy. |
| I prefer Planet Fitness. Too affordable to waste money any where else. |

Equinox. The answer is Equinox.
But seriously, whichever gym is convenient for you, that you can easily afford and that meets your needs. |
| What is the monthly or annual cost of these gyms? Golds, Lifetime, WSC, etc? How much does Crossfit cost? Thanks |
Lifetime is $120/month, $70 for the next 3 family members or something like that. I was paying $20/month and doing yoga elsewhere at $15/class 2x per week. So this is about the same, has more classes, the bathrooms are nicer so I am more likely to use them before work. |
| I pay $36/mo at Golds. Mostly just take the classes and occasionally use the weight room. They have locations both near my house and near my office, so it works for me. I agree with PP that with gyms, convenience is important. If it's a hassle to get to, you won't go, and then it doesn't matter how great the gym is. |
How could you recommend a gym like that? All of their machines are cheap and gaudy which can cause people to pull muscles. I went one time to a grand opening and just about had a muscle spasm running on their cheap treadmill.
They also offer bagels and pizza once a month.....which is rude to people trying to stay away from carbs.

Oh no a purple machine caused you to pull a muscle? You delicate little thing. |
